The Australia business visitor visa lets you travel to Australia for short business activities such as meetings, contract talks and conferences. It does not allow paid work. Pakistani applicants apply online under the Visitor visa (subclass 600) and must be outside Australia when they apply and when the decision is made.

What Is the Australia Business Visitor Visa?
It is the business visitor stream of the visitor visa (subclass 600). The subclass 600 business visitor stream is built for short trips where you do business activities but do not work for an Australian employer.
The stay is up to 3 months. Condition 8115 applies, so you must not work in Australia apart from business visitor activities. Pakistani passport holders cannot use the ETA or the eVisitor, which makes subclass 600 the correct route.

Who Can Apply for the Australia Business Visitor Visa from Pakistan?
You need a valid Pakistani passport and a clear business reason for the trip. You must also meet the genuine visitor, health and character requirements. Typical applicants include:
- Business owners and company directors
- Employees sent by their company
- Professionals invited by an Australian business
- Delegates joining a conference, trade fair or seminar
For an Australia business visitor visa, the case officer looks at three things. Your purpose must be clear, your funds must cover the stay, and your life in Pakistan must show that you will leave Australia when the visit ends.

Australia Conference Visa: Is There a Separate Visa?
There is no separate conference visa. People who search for an Australia conference visa apply in the business visitor stream.
Keep your event registration, agenda and invitation together. If the organizer pays you for speaking or other services, the activity may count as work, so get advice before you apply.
Documents for an Australia Business Visa from Pakistan
The VFS Global Pakistan checklist sets out what to submit with an Australia business visitor visa application. Prepare these groups of documents.
Identity and family
- Passport, plus previous passports that hold visas
- NADRA Family Registration Certificate (FRC), or Form B if you cannot get an FRC
- Marriage Registration Certificate or Nikah Nama, if married
- Recent passport-size photograph taken in the last 6 months
Business and funds
- Invitation letter from the Australian business stating the period and purpose of your visit
- Letter from your own company explaining the visit, your length of stay and the benefit to the business
- Business registration papers and a certified NTN certificate issued by the FBR
- Bank statements for the last 3 months, stamped by your bank
- Employees: an employment letter showing position, income and length of service; payslips and a leave approval letter
Travel and health
- Planned itinerary and accommodation details
- Polio vaccination certificate
Residents of Pakistan need a polio dose between 4 weeks and 12 months before travel. Do not buy flight tickets until the visa decision arrives. Documents not in English need an English translation.
How to Apply for the Australia Business Visitor Visa
- Create an ImmiAccount on the Home Affairs website.
- Select Visitor visa (subclass 600) and choose the Business Visitor stream.
- Complete the form with details that match your documents.
- Upload your documents and pay the visa application charge.
- Give biometrics if Home Affairs requests them.
- Wait for the decision and check your email and ImmiAccount regularly.

Fee and Processing Time
The visa application charge for the Australia business visitor visa is AUD 250 from 1 July 2026. Fees change each financial year, so confirm the amount on the Home Affairs Visitor visa page before you pay.
Home Affairs figures published on 2 November 2026 show 50 percent of business visitor applications decided in 7 days and 90 percent in 23 days. Missing documents, biometrics and extra checks add time. Lodging 6 to 8 weeks before travel leaves a safe margin.
Can You Extend a Business Visitor Stay?
Not in this stream. You cannot apply for the Business Visitor stream from inside Australia.
If your visa has no condition 8503, you may be able to apply for a different visa onshore. Check your grant letter for conditions before you make any plan.
